Sparkles and Soccer
KK's hair keeps getting thicker, but it hasn't gotten much longer. It's been looking a bit messy lately, though, so I brought her to another kids' salon today hoping they could clean it up a little. After about three minutes and eight scissor-snips, it was all over and I was $25 in the hole.

After: Just like last time, it wasn't a bad experience - just not worth the money. KK did get little sparkles sprayed in her hair, which I thought was cute, but the free clips broke and fell out before we even got to the car. Next time, we will give it a try at home and use our $25 on ice cream!
In other news, KK is still the birthday cake watchdog. At a party this weekend, all of the kids happily worked on making crafts while she diligently supervised the cutting of the cake. That's my girl! (Don't you love her sparkly "rock star" jewelry?! Too bad we didn't have hair sparkles on Saturday to match.)
Then there is soccer. Three-year-old soccer.
The first five minutes:
The last fifty-five minutes:

That's my girl!! Sparklemania! They were having fun that is the most important thing. The one little boy is consentrating so hard his tongue is sticking out. Her hair is growing you just don't see it like we do. It is great there are so many activities for little ones to keep them active.

The $25.00 was to help pay for all that fun equipment the kids sit on.

I wish I could say that 4-year-old soccer is better but..... :-)
