We now resume...
...our regularly scheduled programming, already in progress.
Things are back to 'normal' around here after the holidays. KK is feeling much better and today we had our first playgroup since early December. Unfortunatly, many of our playgroup friends are not feeling well ('tis still the season for bug-catching), so it was a small group of KK and one other friend. We had a nice time visiting and playing, and the other mom and I enjoyed seeing how much each other's kiddo had grown in a month.
We'll also be going back to music class this week after a winter break. I'm getting into a groove at work where I sort of know what I'm doing. I stiiiilllll don't have an oven - it blew out in September, we waited over three months for a part, we got the new part and it blew too. Now Daddy can't decide if we should get all new appliances or if we should buy just an oven that doesn't quite match everything else (our "almond" appliance color has been discontinued). I think both our dishwasher and microwave are on the outs too - but who knows, they could last another couple of years. So it might be a good time to replace everything. (What's the lottery up to these days????) Anyway, even I, who almost despises day-to-day cooking, am getting more than annoyed. I won't even get into the tiles in the shower that are falling off the wall allowing water to seep into God knows where...
Hmmm. That's about all the news I can report. OH, I did update my blogroll - over there on the right. I hadn't realized how outdated it had become.
Sorry for the boring post. I'll post a KK video or something to make up for it later. : )

Yes, video please!
Oh, and fix the tiles fast. That's what started the huge bathroom disaster at my house. Well, the leaky faucet was it's own little disaster, but the water getting behind the tiles is what caused all the mold and damage. Yuck!
Hugs and kisses!
I vote for all new vintage green appliances. Oh yeah, that's what I want. :)
Glad KK is all better - can't wait for pics!

Almond appliances huh.. I think it's time for stainless! :) And if you learn how to keep it clean you must share.
Glad you guys are feeling better, it feels like Avery has been sick since June. But maybe just a few weeks.
